An 8-metre aluminium electric sloop
The AluShip E-Sloep 800 is the smallest boat in the range certified for twelve, and the second of the sloops to carry CE design category C rather than D. Aluminium hull, cut and welded in Steenwijk.
The numbers
8.0 m long, 3.15 m in the beam, 1445 kg, drawing 0.70 m with an air draught of 1.62 m. Certified for 12 people, CE design category C. An electric pod drives it, offered across an 8 to 18 kW band and settled in the configurator, so battery capacity, speed and range are not published as figures and are left out rather than estimated. The builder
AluShip is a Dutch aluminium builder in Steenwijk making its own hulls, with a range aimed at hire companies and holiday parks alongside the private boats. Eight sizes make up the E-Sloep line.
